This was one of the simplest projects I could have imagined, yet it graces our entry hall and is one of my favorite pieces of furniture.
The table supports are two masonry stands found in stone or construction supply yards. They are usually painted blue. You can repaint them black or a decorative color to fit your decor, or strip the paint to expose the raw steel, as I did.
In the stone yard, look for one elongated piece of stone, as seen in this table, or find something smaller for use as a corner table. You will need only one stand for the smaller size.
Be prepared to have help loading and unloading. Stone this size is very heavy.
